RE: Arizona's New Law

Arizona's new imigration law mirrors the existing federal that have not been enforced for the past 30 years, people can only be stopped for reasonable cause or for committing another crime, if the person has valid Id's they have nothing to worry about. Regarding Mexico's President saying Arizona should be ashamed, lets start using Mexico's immigration law, most of our illegals would either be in jail alreay or have been deported.

Hey there deserthawk19, just joined the site today, and lookin' around read your post. I've had a pretty good connection, and association with immigation long before Arizona did the right thing. The next thing we need to do is to rewrite an immigation policy, its roots of Ted Kennedy's design in the early '60's.

Arizona is just doing what those in washington lack the spine to,that would be,uh,oh yeah, protect Americans and enforce the law.

Maybe all us white folk shoulda faced immigration policies like what Arizona has when we came here and illegally took the land from the first nations of this country, against the treaties we ourselves developed and signed, while also committing genocide against native peoples.

NOTHING is NEW about immigration in AZ Immigration law! It just allows that police officers require SUSPICIOUS persons to produce a valid ID. And who is SUSPICIOUS? Everybody, who's actions are at least attempts to commit a crime or misdeamenor. Actually the Rules of Criminal Procedure give the investigation officers the same rights. Immigration Law is in USA a FEDERAL ISSUE...this is stated in the Constitution. Therefore all ammends of the AZ laws in my opinion are tangating the legislative powers of Congress.

Hey,SingleGuyinChicago, it seems you studied Law,have you? Why do you bother, what Phellipe Calderon is saying?! As lawyers we know politicians are talkining a loooooooooot of"rubbish",especially shortly before NEW elections. As I said in my prebious post the Crimial Procedure(especially in Texas, where I worked) gives the police officers the same right,in case a person(white, green, yellow or chocolate) acts suspiciosly.

TAXES in Germany are ALSO very high...even higher than in USA. The sale taxes are 19% and taxes on food&groceries are 7%. Nevertheless, people in Germany do not complain, because the collected money for the taxpayers,is used for public purposes...Universities are free(students are paying only for their Health insurance);schools are ALL Public;the infrastructure is OK and someone even gets a legal aid. In USA,regrettably a loooooooooooot of money is spend on WARS! Why going to Iraq or Afghanistan or another Asian country,if you,Americans, could JUST send your business people there?! Believe me...PECUNIA NON NOCET...said the ancient Romans! The Taliban or whoever would love to to business with anybody, who is investing in the country.
